The young singer from Busoga, Acidic Vokoz, addressed the low turnout at Gravity Omutujju's recent show, placing the responsibility on the rapper himself. "I had nothing to do with it. I just held my own concert at the same venue, which was packed, and then I left," he explained. "If Gravity came later and couldn't draw a crowd, that's on him. It's all about how an artist connects with their fans, and everyone has their own approach."
Acidic Vokoz held his "Ndi Musoga" concert at the Cricket Oval on August 30, which saw strong attendance. In contrast, a week later, Gravity’s "Embaga ya Isma n’amina" show drew a much smaller crowd, with only a few hundred people attending. Reflecting on the situation, Gravity acknowledged, "Sometimes you can have a successful event, and other times it doesn’t go as planned... even top football teams lose matches. I didn’t get as many people as usual, but that happens. Everyone can have a bad day in business."
Unfortunately, Gravity's string of bad luck seemed to continue during his follow-up concerts across the country, with his most recent show in Masaka drawing only a few dozen attendees.
