On Sunday, June 11th, the trio and their crew touched down at Entebbe International Airport around midday. They had flown in from Nairobi, where they delivered an exceptional performance at the Stanbic Yetu Festival on Saturday, June 10th, held at Uhuru Gardens. Joining them on the Uganda Airlines flight from Nairobi was the sensational Kenyan boy band, Sauti Sol.
This Africa tour marks Boyz II Men's inaugural visit to the continent, and they are set to conclude their tour in South Africa later this year. The legendary group, comprised of Nathan Morris, Wanyá Morris, and Shawn Stockman, is making waves with their highly anticipated appearances.
Just like their performance in Nairobi, Boyz II Men, the acclaimed award-winning group, will be joined on stage by Sauti Sol and a lineup of talented local artists at Kololo. This extraordinary night promises to go down in history.Back in December 2008, Boyz II Men had originally planned a show at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala, but unfortunately, it was canceled due to Shawn Stockman falling ill.
Following their show in Kampala, the group will conclude their Africa tour with performances in Pretoria, Cape Town, and Durban, South Africa.
