However, Baraka clarified that their bond is purely a friendship, putting the rumors to rest. He explained that Princess Katrina has been a long-time supporter of his music, which brought them closer.
"Katrina is my friend. She’s supported me from way back and really loves my music," Baraka shared.
How They Met
Baraka went on to explain how their friendship started. The two often ran into each other while traveling, whether on flights or at airports, which led to their initial conversations and eventual friendship.
"We used to meet up a lot during our travels, either on the plane or at the airport. That’s how we started talking, and over time, we became good friends," Baraka said.
He also mentioned that whenever they’re both in the UK, they meet up to attend shows and spend time together. He praised Katrina for her consistent support, noting that she attends his performances whenever possible. "She’s just a supportive person and a good friend," he added.
Princess Ssangalyambogo, who studied and currently works in England, has largely kept her romantic life private. In a previous interview, she stated that she wasn’t dating anyone at the time.
