Spice Diana laid the groundwork for building connections with artists managed by the WCB Wasafi record label, including Diamond Platnumz, when she collaborated with Tanzanian singer Mbosso Khan on their song titled "Yes." Subsequently, she recorded another track titled "Upendo" with Zuchu, who is also associated with the Wasafi label and has been in a relationship with Diamond Platnumz.
During her appearance on Galaxy FM's BigBang show, hosted by DJ Nimrod and LittleJoe, Spice Diana was asked about her relationship with Diamond Platnumz. When Diamond visited Kampala, he expressed his interest in meeting Diana, and they connected at Mestil Hostel where he was staying during his time in the city. Diamond openly expressed his willingness to be intimate with the Ugandan songstress.
However, Diana, whose real name is Hajara Namukwaya, clarified that they did not engage in any intimate relationship. The only favor she did for Diamond was recommending her stylist, as the Tanzanian artist wanted some outfits for his stay in Kampala. Diana arranged for the designer to visit the hotel and provide the clothing that Diamond requested.
Spice Diana mentioned that she and Diamond Platnumz have recorded "many songs" together, creating a surplus of choices for their future releases. Some of these songs were recorded during her visit to Tanzania and during Diamond Platnumz's recent trip to Kampala to perform at the Comedy Store Uganda fundraising concert.
