"Happy Birthday, Mama... @daniellaatim," he wrote on Sunday.
Atim was born on November 13, 1985, so she is now 37 years old. Weasel recently got in trouble for being accused of domestic violence, which caused his baby mama Sandra Teta to move back to her home country of Rwanda. Atim was very vocal about this, and she was always yelling at her brother-in-law and telling him to change. At one point, Weasel texted her and asked her to stop talking about family things in public. Even though his family told him to lie, Atim insisted that the only way out was to tell the truth.
"Go out and tell the truth about yourself to get over your past faster. And if your family or anyone else doesn't like it, let them deal with their fears. At the beginning of October, Atim, who is now in the US, said, "You're sharing your life as you lived it, and if people wanted to be talked about better, they should have treated you right."
"If you tell your story, you'll never be a victim. Instead, you will be a successful survivor whose truth and courage will set the world on fire. You never know who needed your light, who needed to see your candle to light their own, or who needed your story as a way out."
She continued, "Yes, it's true that you need to be emotionally healed before you can tell your story to the world. It takes energy to get up on stage and talk to people, so make sure you're not still hurting on the inside as you go up." Heal enough so that you can talk without worrying about who will attack you for "exposing" them.
Atim, who has five kids with Chameleone, sometimes shares posts that victims of domestic violence have sent to her. She has more than 43,000 Instagram fans.
