While still together, according to Kats, Mutoni traveled to Rwanda and also took some time off to undergo rehab.
This seems to have left Kats lonely.However, she has commended him for being a responsible and involved co-parent. During their breakup, Mutoni made allegations of infidelity, disrespect, and domestic violence against her ex-partner.
In 2019, Kats publicly revealed his HIV-positive status without prior notification to Mutoni, which she perceived as a betrayal. During their relationship, Mutoni had traveled to Rwanda and took a hiatus for rehabilitation, leaving Kats feeling lonely.
"Fille went to Rwanda for approximately eight months, and then she underwent a nine-month period of rehabilitation... I am a human being too. I am not an animal," Kats stated in a previous interview.
"God created me to be happy, and if that happiness is taken away, I will move on to other things... And God wants me to share that happiness with others."
It was during this period that MC Kats crossed paths with media personality Caroline Marcah.
According to Kats, Marcah rescued him from a dire situation.
"I was on the verge of death, and Carol came to my rescue. That's the truth... Carol found me right after I had issues with Fille, so I have deep respect for Carol because of that," MC Kats expressed. "For life." Kats and Marcah have had a close relationship for approximately four years, although they have never publicly confirmed a romantic involvement.
In an interview, Marcah was confronted with two questions that people were eagerly seeking answers to.
Interviewer: "There are two questions people really want answers to."
Marcah: "Which ones?"
Interviewer: "That these days you're moving out with MC Kats?"
Marcah: "Moving out where? We always move out!"
Interviewer: "That you and MC Kats love each other?"
Marcah: "Don't I love you?"
Interviewer: "I mean love in the bed!"
Marcah: "You mean all along love is in the bed?"
Interviewer: "That you and MC Kats are sexually involved?"
Marcah: "Mmm... That's not bad!... It's not going anywhere... Everyone has their own 'animal'... It doesn't matter who's eating... I have my people... There are also people I'm involved with."
Interviewer: "Did Kats have relations with you?"
Marcah: [Pauses for a few seconds and laughs]
