MC Kats expressed his joy following the release of his ex-partner and singer, Fille Mutoni, from rehab.

In a media interview, Kats shared, "She has stabilized," adding, "I’m happy for my friend because it hasn’t been an easy journey. This time, she spent six months there."

He thanked the rehab facility, Eddy Kenzo, President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), and Fille’s family for their support during her rehabilitation.

Kats revealed that Fille sought help in rehab due to an addiction to crack and ice, encouraging others with similar struggles to utilize rehab services.

MC Kats and Fille first met when she was a university student, and he played a crucial role in launching her music career by introducing her to the industry and using his connections to support her growth as an artist.

In 2023, Fille shared that, despite their romantic relationship ending, MC Kats continues to encourage and support her. "I share a child with MC Kats, and he’s always been telling me, 'Fille, get up!'" she said in a video.

Kats has always motivated Fille to regain control of her life, reminding her not to lose her way. Since their breakup in 2019, Fille has faced various challenges, including battling drug addiction, which has affected her music career and financial stability. She recently admitted to seeking rehab to address these issues.

Kats and Fille were together for ten years before their breakup and share a daughter, Abigail Farica Bwiza Kisakye.
