In an interview, Omutujju stated that Chameleone will be fortunate to draw enough partygoers for his promoters to realize a return on their investment.
The rapper said that Chameleone is not one of the performers who he admires and that he will not be helping to promote his show. When questioned by Galaxy TV if he will post about Ggwanga Mujje on his social media platforms, Omutujju responded, "I can't give him anything.
"He is not older than me. Are you implying that Chameleone resides at home and that my mother is his mother? He is my senior! ... What is wrong with this youngster? [addressing the interviewer] Those guys [Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine, and Chameleone] annoy me. Let Chameleone be Chameleone and do what he needs to do while I do mine "Added he.
The big three deserve respect because they paved the way, Chameleone said after Omutujju's attack on them last year, in which he claimed they were against him because they didn't promote his show.
"Young people should be treated with respect; they shouldn't assume that we just overnight become what we are by abusing Moses Matovu of the Afrigo Band. We were taught to appreciate those who were older and had more life experience than we did "explained Chameleone.
"People claim that Muyenga, a lush suburb of Kampala, is a good place, but they should show respect for the first resident who settled there because it wasn't a good location prior to that time. They disparage and discredit artists who came before them without remembering that, when I got into this profession, the music industry was rife with gangsters."
Omutujju claims that Chameleone refused to make place for him. He'll be lucky to have them, and regardless of whether he draws viewers or not, his show doesn't interest me, the man said. Jose Chameleone, who hasn't performed live in three years, will mark his 25th anniversary in the music business. In 2021, he also dissolved his 10-year agreement with Balaam Barugahara, an event promoter, and engaged Mariam Mutakubwa, commonly known as Biggie, to help promote the eagerly anticipated performance at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.
