Singer Elijah Kitaka has addressed his bold fashion choices, which have recently sparked discussions on social media.

At a recent event, Elijah Kitaka revealed that he personally designs all of his outfits. "I create everything myself... I'm the designer," he shared when asked by Ms. Deedan about his look at the launch of the 2nd edition of the Bell ObaFest.

"Sometimes I collaborate with other designers, blending ideas to achieve the final result you see," he added. Kitaka was spotted wearing a white t-shirt paired with loose, light blue denim jeans featuring a deconstructed design that gave them a rugged, distressed appearance. The oversized jeans had visible frayed hems and a hanging denim section, adding to the grunge vibe.

Kitaka is also known for his signature knee-length straight-cut shorts, now humorously dubbed "Kitaka Shorts" on social media. However, not everyone appreciates his style. Pastor Martin Ssempa recently went viral for criticizing Kitaka, accusing him of promoting inappropriate behavior through his fashion choices. "He’s teaching young men to wear underwear in public. What is that?" the pastor questioned.
