Elijah Kitaka
At the age of 7, Elijah Kitaka began his journey in music by playing the drums and exploring his singing talents. Currently, he is diligently working on an album that incorporates various genres, touching upon themes of love and life. As a percussive drummer, he possesses a strong affinity for manipulating time and introducing heightened tension in specific sections, adding depth to the rhythm section.
Throughout his career, Elijah Kitaka has collaborated with esteemed creatives such as Michael Kitanda, Maurice Kirya, Sandy Soul, Shifah Musisi, Sewa Sewa, Kaz Kasozi, Myco Owuma, Levixone, Limit X, Giovanni Kiyingi, Mr. Alex Zwingerberger, Cindy, and Judith Adong, among others.
He has also graced renowned platforms including Lana Festival, Blankets & Wine, Nyege Nyege, Bayimba Festival, Yella Cultural Festival, Jazz Safari, Milege Festival, Live at Fezah, Doa Doa, and more, showcasing his exceptional musical prowess.
