Event planner Balaam Barugahara said that the only way to beat musician Eddy Kenzo is with witchcraft, since guns won't work.

"Those who want to kill Kenzo might be able to do so by making him sick. But if they want to use a gun, he has guns that are more powerful. Go there if you want to kill him with a gun, but be ready to fight. He is protected by soldiers. If you want to beat him, you should use witchcraft "In a video that this reporter saw, Barugahara said.

Barugahara said this after Kenzo cried at a press conference on Monday and said that he was getting death threats and that people were trying to kill him.Barugahara said that Moses Lubulwa of Luba Events was paid for Kenzo's problems with him. Before the country was shut down because of the Covid-19 pandemic, Kenzo and Lubulwa, also known as Luba, made a deal to hold the Eddy Kenzo Festival at Kololo Airstrip on March 28, 2020.

The lockdown made it so that the event couldn't happen.Luba had paid Kenzo Shs120 million at first. According to other reports, the amount was Shs140m. But when Luba asked Kenzo to put on the festival again after the lockdown, the Sitya Loss singer told him he had to pay an extra Shs520m. The amount was put at Shs550m by other sources.Barugahara says that during the lockdown, Gen. Salim Saleh gave promoters 5 billion shillings to make up for some of the money they lost because of the lockdown, and Luba took "between 600 and 800 million shillings."

Barugahara said that Kenzo had called him before and told him that Luba wasn't happy with how things went.Luba got a court order to stop event organizers from hiring Kenzo until they worked out their problems, but it doesn't look like it worked since Kenzo held his festival on November 12 and the injunction was issued on November 9. Balaam Barugahara said they should settle out of court, with Kenzo giving Luba about Shs20 million and his lawyer getting Shs5 million.
