According to actress Evelyn Namulondo, her friendship with musician Rema Namakula was a manifestation of God's plan.

Actress Evelyn Namulondo first met Rema Namakula, professionally known as Rema, while the latter was still a backup singer for Bebe Cool's record label, Gagamel Crew. In a recent interview, Namulondo shared that she was impressed by Rema's talent when she heard her sing "Oli Wange" and was drawn to her bubbly and well-behaved personality. She felt that God had already told her that Rema was a good person, even before they met.

Namulondo began visiting Gagamel to see Rema and eventually, they became friends. She attributed their long-lasting friendship to mutual trust, respect, and love for each other. Despite Rema leaving Gagamel and pursuing a solo career, their friendship has remained intact.

Recently, Namulondo was spotted hanging out with Eddy Kenzo, who dated Rema for six years and played a significant role in her music career. Some netizens questioned her loyalty to Rema, but Namulondo clarified that she sees Rema and Kenzo as her sister and brother, respectively.
