Lydia Nabawanuka, also known as Lydia Jazmine, is a musician. On her Instagram stories, she showed off the beautiful mansion she is building in Munyonyo, a leafy suburb of Kampala.

The songbird said that she had gone to the crib with her mother and uncle to look at it. She joins a small group of female singers, such as Hellena Nanjego, Stabua Natooro, Hellen Lukoma, Spice Diana, and Sheebah Karungi, who are known to own expensive homes.

The latest news shows that Jazmine's almost 10-year-long music career is paying off. Born in 1991, the business administration graduate first came to the public's attention when Mowzey Radio and Weazel Manizo's producer, Bushington, hired her to sing backup for them. She was in their songs like "Breathe Away," which Michael Fingers produced, and "Ntunga," which Nessim produced.

She did the same thing for Pallaso, Sheeba Kalungi, and Bebe Cool until she released her first single, You Know, with Rabadaba and Nessim producing. Under his label Necta Music, which he ran, Bushington was her manager. Same Way, her 2016 project with Geosteady, was her big break out. Nessim also made this song.In the same year, Radio wrote a song for her called "Nkubanja." It came out in 2017 and was made by the late Danz Kumapeesa.

In 2018, she also released a great ballad called "You and me" with Daddy Andre.

Jazmine has been on MTV Base Africa and Coke Studio Africa, and she has won many awards, such as the Zzina Awards and the Uganda Entertainment Awards. But even though she has had a lot of success, music experts have recently criticized her for putting more effort into show business than music. But Jazmine has said that she is getting new management and will release new music soon. Jazmine and Ronnie Mulindwa, who used to be her manager, broke up around June of this year. Three years had passed since they met.
