"No... I wouldn't call it a mindset, but I've traveled and been exposed to different cultures, and this rushing to get married and have kids when you're not ready... I'm not ready to marry someone's daughter or have kids. I've been to Uganda and seen what my family went through. I wouldn't want my child to be in that situation if I'm not ready, like financially. "If I had a child, I might want him or her to join the Arsenal Football Club academy. I still don't have that. I haven't reached that level yet. And we are still working. So, we have plans and plans for the future." After she broke up with God's Plan, whose real name is Marcus Ali Lwanga Ssempija, in 2021, Rickman and Gashumba went public with their relationship. Gashumba is a TV host and events host. Then, in July of this year, they were said to have broken up after Rickman posted a video of himself getting close to another woman. But when she took Rickman's photos off of Instagram, she left fans wondering why. She has also taken vacations without him outside of Uganda.
After Gashumba spent time with Nigerian singer Ruger in Kampala, the video of Rickman with another woman got out. Later, photos of the two of them in awkward positions started to show up on social media. After his tour was over in Kampala, she went with him to Kigali, Rwanda. When asked if it hurt, Manrick replied: "No, you know, this is an industry where everything is expected. This is the kind of industry where Kanye West and the Kardashians work. So, she works in a business. I work in a field that is merging in one way or another."
He added: "That's what she does for a living: she does PR for artists. She would have worked with a lot of other artists, but because of that whole thing, she's keeping her head down. Everyone wants her on their team." In the meantime, they have recently been seen spending time together in bars, and based on what Manrick said, it sounds like they are still dating.
