Rickman Manrick, a rising star whose music has made him popular in Uganda, will be on The Beat today.
The singer from Sweden who just did a song called "Naki" and then Wakanda, which came out two days ago, will talk about how he got into music and what it's like to be a musician in the diaspora.
The real name of Rickman Manrick is Derrick Ddungu, and he was born on December 25. He makes music, plays soccer, and is in school to become a teacher. He was born in Kampala and grew up there (Bakuli).
