?A Pass: The Story of Bagonza, His Music, His Age, and His Family Alexander A. Pass Bagonza is one of the best Ugandan Reggae Ragga Dancehall singers and songwriters. He was first signed to Badi Music by video producer Bashir Lukyamuzi before he went out on his own.

Bagonza has made club hits like "Tuli Kubigere" and a lot of other songs that have been used as soundtracks in international movies and have been played in clubs. Queen of Katwe, which came out in 2017, is in the movie.

Hit songs like "Love Affection," "Memories," and "Tuli Kubigere" were written by A Pass. Plus a lot more. A Pass says that his stage name, Alexander Pass, comes from his last name, Alexander, and his nickname, Percy.

Schooling and history

Bagonza Alexander, also known as "A Pass," was born on December 21, 1989. He is from Fort Portal, so his tribe calls him a "mutoro."

Bagonza also comes from a family with a father named Ronald Mutabazi and a mother named Jane Namyalwo. He is the second child out of five, and he is the first boy in the family, since the other four children are all girls.

For his primary education, A Pass went to Nakasero Primary School and Kampala Kindergarten, both of which are in the city. After his primary education, he went to Maryland, a seventh-day advents school in Entebbe, for his o level.

Later, he went to St. Lawrence Cream Land Campus to get his A level and then went into the music business.

Career in music

A Pass Bagonza says that he has loved and been passionate about music since he was a child.

Bagonza says that his father could play music, and that he could play a lot of popular songs at once. This gave him a chance to hear songs by artists like Shaggy, whose songs he could sing word-for-word when he was a child without having written them down.

When he went to high school in Maryland, his love of music grew. He started writing songs, and most of them were gospel songs because he had just become a Christian.

During this time, he went to the studio for the first time with the help of another gospel artist named Sseku Martin. Unfortunately, they didn't finish the song for reasons that aren't clear, so A Pass didn't get a feel for the studio.

He could play his written pieces whenever he got the chance, but especially at school mime contests.

After he finished his O'levels at Maryland, he went to St. Lawrence. A Pass says that this school was better for him because he was exposed to more music and could sing almost every day because of how the school was set up.

While at Cream Land, Pass met Don Mc, and the two of them write songs for their class and school together.

In 2007, when he was in his senior year of high school, A Pass went back to a studio in Kireka called Fairways studio. He made songs like "Love Is a Beautiful Thing," and his friend Don Mc put him in touch with producer Imo of South Cyde Studios.

He made songs like "Can't See You," "Life Is Getting Harder," and "Kiki Kyomanyiko." Bagonza and Dave Dash worked together on several songs and had a strong musical relationship, but Dave Dash later changed careers and became a radio personality.

In 2011, A Pass Bagonza met a man named Lukyamuzi Bashir, whose nickname was Badi and who made videos. He saw him at South Cyde Studios and started taking him to other studios to record music.

In 2012, BADI opened a studio called BADI MUZIKI so that Apass could easily record music whenever he wanted to. BADI also hired Nessim to be the studio's producer.

In 2013, they put out a song called "Love Infection," which brought him to the attention of the mainstream media. Badi shot the video for the song in Tanzania.

Later, he put out another song called "Am Loving," which had Don Mc and Cindy on it.

A pass put out Tuli Kubigere, which was a club banger and his first hit. The video was made by Damain Gyle, a Jamaican video producer.Apass has worked with many producers, including Alex of AIP records from Jamaica, Spyda from Jamaica, Nessim of Badi Muzik, Baru, Just Jose, Nash, and many more.

Apass says that dancehall, R&B, reggae, hip hop, afro-pop, and artists like Micheal Jackson, Lucky, Dube, and UB40 are some of the things that inspire him.

Since he left BADI MUSIC of Lukyamuzi Bashir, Apass is now in charge of himself.

Controversies

Since Ykee Benda got to the top, Apass has tried to hurt him several times. A Pass says that he was Ykee Benda's mentor, but that Ykee Benda didn't like him. But recently, they got together, went to the studio, and made a song called "Turn up" to get over their differences.Bebe Cool and A Pass have been fighting, and their relationship has been on and off. A Pass Bagonza attacks Bebe Cool a lot, and once, when they were both on Spark TV's Koona show, they fought each other.

In 2019, he wrote a sad farewell letter to his longtime crush Flavia. After hearing that Flavia Tumusiime was engaged to a sports reporter named Andrew Kabura, Apass sent her an emotional message. Flavia replied that Apass is not his kind of person.

People say that A Pass is dating Martha Kay and that they are both in love. This is one reason why he and Ykee Benda were fighting, but it looks like Martha Kay chose Apass.
