Mukiiza Frank on the job Feffe Bussi is a Ugandan singer, songwriter, freestyle rapper, and rapper who has won awards.
He also calls himself "the smallest rapper," even though he is currently the most popular hip-hop artist in Uganda.
How I grew up and went to school
Mukiiza Frank, also known as Feffe Bussi, was born on December 9, 1993, to Nalongo Mary Baganizi, whose husband died in 2009.
He was the fifth and last child in a family of five. There were three girls and two boys, and he was the only boy. He grew up in the ghettos of Nakulabye-Nabulagala, where his family lived.
He said that the family wasn't rich, but they didn't have a bad heart. His family could only stay alive because his mother sold charcoal and waragi. Feffe Bussi says that his late dad was smart. He says that his dad told him not to be violent toward women and helped him follow his passion for hip-hop music.
For his primary education, Mukiiza Frank (Feffe Bussi) went to Nakulabye Junior School. He went to Cityland College Matugga for his O-Levels. There, he met Lydia Nabawanuka Jazmine, who he says was the smartest student in his class. He went to Nile High School in Mukono for his A'Levels, and then he started making music.
The rapper who calls himself the smallest says that his family wanted him to be a lawyer, but music won out. He said that he would have been a radio host if he hadn't been a musician.
He did, however, admit that he signed up for Makerere University but never went there, even though he told his parents that he was a Journalism and Mass Communication student there in the evenings.
He also spent some of that time in studios around Makindye, where he worked on his music career and recorded songs.
Family Feffe Bussi has said many times on radio and TV that he is single. He admits, though, that he fell in love with his music, and since it's jealous, he can't cheat on it.
He has also said that if he were to date, he would want a woman like Barbie Kyagulanyi, who is the wife of presidential candidate and Kyadondo East MP Hon. Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi. He would want a woman who has dreams and is always ready to stand by him.
He also wished that Barbie Kyagulanyi would start a camp for slay queens called "ekisaakaate."
How did Feffe Bussi get his name?
Feffe Bussi has had that name ever since he was a little boy. Because some words are hard for kids to say, he didn't say "raw jackfruit." Instead, he said "feffe Bussi," which is a different word. [When he was young, Feffe Bussi said "feffe" instead of "fene" for jackfruit and "bussi" instead of "mubisi" for raw.
Since Feffe Bussi was his nickname for a long time, he decided to use it as his stage name when he started making music.
Music career
Ugandan hip-hop musician Feffe Bussi has been making music for almost seven years. When he started singing like G.N.L. Zamba in Form Five, he discovered that music was his passion and that he could do it. Feffe Bussi began sleeping at Gravity Omutujju's house many years ago until his hard work paid off.
He kept working toward his goal, which gave him confidence in music until he put out his first song, "Summertime," in 2013. After his first show in 2013, he was still not well-known, but in 2015, he made it big.
On his hit song "Nsekula," the Ugandan singer, dancer, and actress Sheebah Karungi from Team No Sleep was also featured.
In 2016, Feffe Bussi came out with another hit song called "Yes No," which made Ugandan music fans like him even more. He never stopped, and in 2018, when he released "Who is Who," a song that started a huge hip-hop movement in Uganda, he solidified his place as one of the best rappers in Uganda.
He then admitted that he put out "Who is Who" to wake up Ugandan rappers because he saw that dancehall music was becoming more popular than hip-hop.

In 2020, a company called Africell Uganda offered Feffe Bussi a huge ambassadorial deal. He also has many songs on his record label, Feffe Bussi Music, which he owns. In the end, though, it's not clear how much he's worth all together.
First, Feffe Bussi goes after Gravity Omutujju.
Many people talked about Gravity Omutujju's Wakulemye track's controversial artwork and cryptic caption, which showed rappers Feffe Bussi, Navio, Fik Fameica, GNL Zamba, Rocky Giant, Victor Kamenyo, and Da Agent in diapers.
Feffe Bussi replied by putting it on his Instagram page, where he posted a picture of himself writing what he said were lyrics while a goat stood next to him. "Keep an eye on that."
2. Gashumba says he won't pay for Feffe Bussi's song "Who Is Who"
One of the local gossip magazines said that Frank Gashumba didn't like the song Who is Who because it talks about his daughter Sheila Gashumba.
Gashumba, on the other hand, denied that he had paid Feffe Bussi to redo the song.
"I don't know him at all. Qui est-il? First of all, I don't know that person, and second, I don't remember ever funding a song in the last five years. Some people want to use other people's names, but Gashumba said in a phone interview, "I don't know that person and I don't know that name."
