AK 47
AK 47, born Emmanuel Mayanja on October 29, 1990, was a Ugandan dancehall artist and a brother to renowned musicians Chameleone, Pallaso, and Weasel of the Goodlyfe Crew. He started his music career in 2008 under the name Hammatone but gained widespread recognition in 2012 with his hit song Champion. His music career saw him collaborate with artists like King Saha and Chameleone, producing popular songs such as Musajja Watu and Mbeera Ya Nsi
AK 47 was married to Maggie Mayanja, with whom he had twins. In 2014, he joined the Team No Sleep music group under manager Jeff Kiwa. Tragically, on March 16, 2015, he was found unconscious in a bar bathroom, bleeding from the nose. He was rushed to Nsambya Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The circumstances surrounding his death remain controversial, with multiple theories circulating, but the exact cause remains undetermined
