Betty Mpologoma
Betty Mpologoma is a Ugandan singer and songwriter known for her love songs and long-standing career in the music industry. She began her musical journey in 1999 and was initially part of Diamond Productions Band before going solo. Over the years, she has released popular songs such as Fasi Fasi, Big Deal, and Big Daddy.
Mpologoma was born in Gomba, Uganda, where she completed her primary education before attending Gombe Senior Secondary School in Kampala. Before her breakthrough in music, she worked in the construction materials business. Her career took off after meeting music producer Dr. Tee, with whom she collaborated on several projects.
Her music career has taken her to international stages, including a notable performance in London in 2005 alongside other Ugandan artists. She has also participated in major music events like the Kikadde concert in 2019, celebrating Ugandan music legends.
Although there have been rumors about her relationship with Dr. Tee, Mpologoma has stated that she is not married. She remains an influential figure in Uganda’s music industry, inspiring young musicians, especially female artists.
