Controversy
Desire's life and music career have been full of scandals. The first one happened when Desire's ex-boyfriend, Juma Seiko, said that Desire Luzinda's daughter was his daughter and asked for a DNA test.
Desire came out and said that Kaddu, not Juma Seiko, was the real father of her daughter, but she did admit that she had dated him at one point.
Luzinda was also said to have slept with rich people in Kampala, and the scandal that caused the most uproar was the one involving the late Nasser Ssebagala, who had been mayor of Kampala.
Desire had slept with men like Juma Seiko, Kaddu, Ssebagala, and many others.
Another point of the quote is that her age went up after she started throwing birthday parties and saying she was always 25. She wouldn't say when she was born, but people say she was born in 1980.
In October 2014, her Nigerian boyfriend Franklin posted pictures of her naked body online, which put Desire in a situation where she had to go to court.
Franklin said that Desire Luzinda was cheating on him, and then he told everyone who Desire was sleeping with. But Franklin was arrested for giving out naked pictures of Desire without her permission. He was later let go and went back to Nigeria.
Desire used this history to start helping young people, especially girls. She does this through her campaigns, especially ones that raise awareness about cyberbullying, which affects most people and can lead to depression.
