Gen Mega Dee, born Amos Kigenyi, is a former Ugandan musician who gained popularity in the 2000s with hit songs such as Obudde, Woman Of My Life, Ngawalaba, and Ina Di Dance. He was a prominent figure in Uganda’s entertainment industry before making a drastic career shift.
Transition to Medicine
In 2017, Gen Mega Dee relocated to the United States with the goal of pursuing a career in healthcare. He started by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare in 2021 and continued his studies to achieve further qualifications. On October 30, 2024, he officially became a certified medical doctor in the U.S., marking a remarkable transformation from his music career to medicine .
