Early Life and Education by Geoffrey Lutaaya
Geoffrey Lutaaya was born to his late father Nelson Kaboggoza, who died at age 92 in 2016 after a long battle with cancer and high blood pressure, and his late mother, who died in 2019 after four years of illness at their home in Mitti Ebiri Kakuuto – Rakai District, where the singer grew up.
Lutaaya went to Mitti Ebiri Primary School in Kyotera and then moved to Mbuye Primary School in Rakai to finish primary seven. Then, in the early 1990s, he went to Kololo High School, but music got in the way and he didn't take his O-Level final exams.
In 2018, the singer went back to Makerere Day and Evening School for Adults (MAECA) on Sir Apollo Kagwa Road in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, to retake his O'Level to improve his grade. At the Adult School, Lutaaya got a total score of 62 and passed in division four. He got an F9 in Geography, History, and Commerce, a Pass 8 in CRE, and credit 5 and credit 6 in English and Luganda.
Geoffrey joined an institution in 2019 that is the same as an A-Level, but he hasn't told anyone about the results or the name of the institution yet. He has promised to do so when the Electoral Commission asks for them. He hasn't decided if he wants to run for the seat in Parliament for Kakuuto County in the Rakai District in the General Election of 2021.
