Harriet Kisakye, who passed away in 2015, was born in 1980 to Mr. Musisi Charles and the late Lillian Namwangye in Kayunga Town Council, Wakiso District. She was a renowned Ugandan female recording artist.Harriet, a mother of two sons, Kiberu Marvin and Kawooya Shakul, sadly lost Kawooya in 2016 under mysterious circumstances on the day he received his school report card.

Songs like "Gyenvude," "Ki Nigeria," and "Gwe Musumba Wange" propelled Harriet to immense fame, endearing her to local music lovers.She spent over two weeks hospitalized at Mulago National Referral Hospital before being transferred to International Hospital Kampala (IHK), founded by Dr. Ian Clarke, a former clerk of Makindye Division. The transfer to IHK was facilitated by Dr. Kizza Besigye, former leader of the Opposition party FDC, and Kampala’s Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago. Harriet was a staunch supporter of FDC and frequently performed at the party's rallies, notably during the 2011 presidential elections.

Harriet Kisakye passed away at the age of 35 due to kidney failure.Her education included attending St. Joseph Nansana Primary School and St. Augustine's College Wakiso. On April 25, 2016, her family and friends organized a memorial service at Bunamwaya Church at 4 pm to commemorate the anniversary of her passing and offer prayers for her soul.
