Jenkins Mukasa, a renowned figure in Uganda's urban music
scene, embarked on his musical journey in the early 1990s as a founding member
of the popular ensemble 'Da Hommies,' alongside Ragga Dee and DJ Messe, who is
now part of the comedy group 'Amarula Family.'
In 1995, Jenkins ventured into a solo career and has since
continued to make strides in the industry, consistently releasing a stream of
songs. He boasts three albums to his name:
- "Mupenzi" (1995), produced by Dawoo
- "Suubi" (2004), produced by Steve Jean
- "Jenkins Mukasa" (2009), featuring various
producers
Recently, Jenkins has been collaborating with Producer
Kingsley, based in Stockholm, Sweden, on new singles that offer a glimpse into
his upcoming album. These singles include:
- "Celebrate" featuring Tikita
- "Love Always"
- "Byaleero"
- "Tugende"
