Maddox Ssematimba

Maddox, whose real name is David Ssemanda Ssematimba, was born in Kampala, Uganda. He is one of Uganda's most famous musicians and has done a lot for the country's music scene. Truth: You will have a hard time comparing his singing and level of talent to any other artists on the scene right now.

He went to Makonzi Primary Boarding School and Busoga College Mwiri. After high school, he worked as a first-grade teacher at "Christian Life Children's Home," one of the schools that "Feed The Children" helped pay for.

In 1991, he moved to Sweden, where he stayed for a while. Maddox kept playing the most popular Reggae Riddims in Uganda. His very unique voice and the strong messages in his songs make him a great Reggae artist in Uganda, Africa, and all over the world.

His lyrics are prophetic and teach people things, and his love ballads make music fans go crazy whenever he comes on the radio. Before his Ugandan fans could get enough of "Namagembe," which became very popular and was played a lot on Ugandan FM stations, the riddim master blew "Nakatudde" into the air. "Tukolagane," his first album, is full of serious beats and is still new and dear to all of his fans.

His new album "Abato" can't be stopped, that's for sure. All of the songs on this album are different, and when we ask people what their favorite song is, they all point to a different song. This is a wonderful thing for the music business. Maddox should be proud of himself as an artist for making these great albums.
