Born on May 7th, 1987, Maro, whose real name is Magada Ronald, is commonly known as the "RnB Kyabazinga." He has been an influential figure in the Ugandan music industry since 2010, achieving a breakthrough with his song "Toneeraga," featuring Mickie Wine from Bobi Wine's Firebase crew.

In 2011, Maro signed with Former Westend entertainment, under the management of Aziz Azion. He released his debut single titled "Sulabulungi," which translates to "Good night." The song gained immense popularity among women, followed by his Lusoga hit "Biweewo." "Biweewo" conveyed a message about overcoming life's hardships through prayer to strengthen a relationship. It is widely regarded as the most heartwarming Zouk and Lusoga track of that time.

In January 2012, Maro departed from Westend entertainment and dropped a memorable collaboration called "Baibe," featuring Mya from the renowned women's singing group, Blu*3. This song propelled him to even greater fame, leading him to establish his own record label, Vocal police entertainment, in the same month.

After joining Vocalpolice Ent, Maro achieved great success with the release of his hit single titled "Genda ewamwe." This song opened numerous doors for him, and to this day, he continues to reap the benefits from it.

In 2013, Maro had an eventful year, marked by the release of several notable tracks. He unveiled the single "Musaayi" and collaborated with Gravity on the song "Why." Additionally, he released "Omuweesi." During this time, he also embarked on his very first concert, aptly named "THE MARO LIVE CONCERT," which took place on September 14th at Freedom City rooftop. He followed it up with another venue in Jinja at the Crested Crane Hotel.

The year 2013 proved to be a remarkable year for Maro. He received a nomination at the Buzz Teen's Awards and, shortly after an immensely successful concert, he was honored with the Best Collaboration of the Year award at the inaugural Club Music Video Awards held on September 20th, 2013, for his song "Why" featuring Gravity.

As the year approached its end, Maro released another single titled "Risingstar." The song showcased his personal journey, including clips of the awards he had won and the concerts he had performed at throughout the years. This release was meant to inspire aspiring artists and was previewed by the esteemed Top Ten Naija Blog for several weeks.

Maro's talent and success were recognized beyond just awards. He was also named Artist of the Year twice, in 2013 and 2014, at the Eastern High School Awards.

Following his successful main concert, Maro, known as the "RnB Kyabazinga," returned to his hometown and performed at the Crested Crane Hotel gardens once again. This time, he attracted an even larger crowd compared to the previous year in 2013.

In 2015, Maro began the year by completing his studies and graduating from Makerere University Kampala on January 21st. He was awarded a bachelor's degree in Development Studies.

Shortly after his graduation, Maro released his first single and music video titled "Emberazo" (Your Ways). The song aimed to address and educate people about treating others with the same kindness they would desire for themselves. The music video gained widespread attention and was played across borders, including on the Kenya Mseto East Africa show on Citizen TV.

Maro and his team have been diligently preparing a 20-track album of hit songs for the year. Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the Emberazo album.
