Prince Omar, whose real name is Mukose Umar and was born on December 1, 1999, is a Ugandan recording artist, singer, songwriter, and performer who lives in Canada. He is one of the young stars in the country who is rising quickly. He is known for his unique style and hard work, which can be seen in the good music videos he puts out.
Prince Omar stands out because he is talented and can do many different things. The singer-songwriter is also a composer who plays almost every musical instrument.
How everything began
Prince Omar started working on his singing voice at a young age by listening to and singing along with popular music. This made him want to become a recording artist. Omar was also inspired by the success of young musicians like Juliana, Eddy Kenzo, and Afrigo Band, who he listened to as a child. This is why he went after a career in music.
His music career got started this year (2018) when he put out his first song, "Biliroliro," which many Ugandans loved. The 19-year-old singer has released two songs so far. The other one is called "Ogunsimbye."
What came before
Prince was born in Wakiso District and grew up in Namasuba, which is a suburb of Kampala. He went to Sir Apollo Kagwa Primary School and then Kibuli Secondary School, Kawempe Muslim School, and Greenhill Academy for his secondary education. The singer is going to Great Lakes College Toronto Canada to get her bachelor's degree.
