Recho Rey
Mirembe Racheal is a singer and songwriter from Uganda. She is one of the female hip-hop artists in Uganda who are rising quickly.
Recho Rey became famous after she took part in the Who is Who challenge, in which different rappers in Uganda used the same beat to record their own songs. This challenge made her famous and gave her a place to start her career as a female hip-hop music artist and rapper in Uganda.
On April 5, 1998, Recho Rey was born in Kireka, which is a suburb of Kampala and the capital city of Uganda, which is in East Africa.
She is the first girl to be born to her parents, who have three girls. Recho Rey went to day and boarding school at Makula.
When she was done with elementary school, she went to Namboole High School, where she got an ordinary level education.
After finishing high school, she went to Standard College and got her Advanced level of education.
Since she was young, Recho Rey has had a strong passion for music. She got the perfect chance to start her music career during the Who is who challenge, where she also put her own lyrics on the beat that was released by FeffeBussi, a Ugandan rapper and artist. This was at the end of the year 2017.
She won one of the MTN cypher UG Hip Pop awards because of how good she is at music.
So far, Recho Rey has put out hit songs like Tweewemu, Kiki Ekidako, Guma Bakunyige, Term Egenda, Cheating, and Kiba Kigwa. These songs are played all over the country on radio and TV stations.
Recho Rey is an inspiration to all young people, especially girls in Uganda and across Africa who want to get into the entertainment business, especially music, with a strong message that you can reach your goals and dreams.
