How I grew up and went to school
Allan Toniks, also known as Allan Ampaire, was born in Mbarara Town in 1987 to Dr. Berinda Edward and Mrs. Berinda Josephine. He grew up in Nyamitanga, Booma, and Kamukuzi.
He knows Runyankore very well because of this.
Family/Relationship
Allan got his first girlfriend when he was 17, and he now has a son.
Career in music
Toniks started to sing, write songs, and play the guitar when he was still in high school, but he decided to make it his career when he recorded his first single, Beera nange, at university.
He is now a full-time guitarist and sometimes makes music under his record label, Vibrations. Allan thinks his music is Urban R&B, and he has been nominated for and won a number of awards.
Allan Toniks took part in the 2015 celebrity edition of the Airtel Trace Music Star Competition and came out on top.
Allan has shared the stage and performed with many local and international artists, such as P Square, Good Lyfe Crew, Proff (Kenya), General Ozzy (Zambia), Gal Level (Namibia), Petersen Zagaze, Urban Boyz, Beenie Man, Sean Kingston (Jamaica), Genista, Sean Paul, Jidenna, Roberto (Zambia), Flavour N'abania (Nigeria), and Bruno K.
