Ntale grew up in Ntinda, but she is from the village of Masaka. She is the only girl in her family, but she has stepbrothers. Ntale didn't grow up with her father, and since she didn't grow up with any boys in the family, it's hard for her to fit in with men.

Career in music

Irene Ntale started singing in a church choir at the Victory City church in Bukoto. At the same time, she and three other friends started a small band in the church.

She learned how to play different instruments at church, but she chose to focus on the guitar. Ntale was in her fourth year of high school and was 16 years old. Irene started going to different studios and eventually got a job as a studio backup singer.

Ntale says that she spent most of her time doing radio jingles at Fenon records of Steve Jean. She also sang the song "for better or worse" by Bob Wine.

Irene Ntale was given a night to perform at the Emin Pasha Hotel every Wednesday night, and she could do so for an hour and a half. Ntale used this chance to get her name out there, and she also used the money she was paid to invite people.

Swangz Avenue found out about Ntale on this night, and they signed her up in 2013. This was after Sera, the first artist they had signed, died.Ntale was given a music writer named Zulanda when she joined Swangz Avenue. Zulanda wrote the song Stay with me, which became her first big hit with Swangz.

Zulanda also wrote a reggae song called "Love Letter." Ntale and Bebe Cool worked together on it. The song was first done by Ntale, but because she needed a boost, the song's management decided to add Bebe Cool.

Irene Ntale later came out with the hit song Gyobela. This song took her to the next level.

Ntale later worked with Radio and Weasel on a song called "Bikoola," which they put out. Later, Ntale put on a concert at Sheraton. After the concert, which was in 2017, she left Swangz Avenue.

Controversies

Irene Ntale left Swangz Avenue in early 2017, but it's not clear why. Then, word got out that she had left because her manager Vinka had been hired by Swangz to sing as well.

Some insiders say that Irene didn't like the idea of signing Vinka because she saw her as a new competitor. This caused a rift between the two, and they stopped getting along, so Ntale left the label.

Later, Irene used her Twitter account to say bad things about her former bosses. Critics of music say that Irene made a mistake by leaving the label, so it's not surprising that she's no longer one of the most popular Divas.

After Irene left Swangz, her sister Sandra, who was also her manager, took over the label.

At the top of her music career, Irene Ntale was accused of being a member of the Illuminati and of killing her aunts to get famous. Ntale came out to deny the reports, and she offered $5 million to anyone who could back up the claims with proof.

Ntale has also been in trouble because he dated other musicians. It was said that Irene Ntale dated her songwriter, Ray Signature, at one point, but Irene came out and said that none of this was true.

Irene Ntale is also blamed by critics for drinking too much and getting drunk, which they say has hurt her music and performances.
